Silver Moon Diner in Middle River

Ordered from silver Moon tonight and did a pickup. Had to repeat order many times on the phone because they were having telephone problems and the phone was breaking up. That is understandable. No cars were in the parking lot when we arrived. Floor was very sticky when we walked in and our shoes stuck to the floor. We had ordered for five people and when we arrived home, we did not get everything we ordered, Even though we paid for it. Crab cakes were not nearly as good as other places. The first two booth inside the door were dirty and food was all lying on the floor. You would think that with all this time closed they would have cleaned.The carrot cake that we ordered was dry and old and it would have been nice if they told us that it was not freshly made

Unique diner with excellent food and a friendly staff. Silver Moon Diner is a unique little diner which steps back in time as soon as you walk through the door. The diner is very clean.The menu has lots to offer. We stopped for breakfast. Our meals were freshly prepared, hot and cooked as ordered. Bring your appetite because portions here are huge. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Our coffee and drinks were kept full the entire time we were there.

Crab cakes are always 11/10 fantastic. The server that treated my friend and I was extremely friendly and entertaining. Gave him a generous tip for his services.

I ordered a hot tea and the waiter never came and asked if I wanted another. I did enjoy the chicken salad melt even though there was too much cheese on it. Their cream of crab was delicious !

The breakfast food there is good and I always want to try this place when it is safe again.

Quick, friendly and delicious. A neighborhood diner that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Welcoming decor and friendly staff. The food is good. It's what you would expect from these family owned diners. Great coffee. It's simple comfort foods. It'll fill you up and won't break the bank.

Excellent lunch time panini sandwiches, tasty crab soup. Beautiful 😍 looking desserts but being I don't want to become diabetic, I did not have any. ☹️

Good ole fashion dinner. Food was great and service was good as well. Their baked goods looked amazing but I don't have the biggest sweet tooth plus it was early in the morning.

My husband and I was very impressed with this diner. The food was delicious, prices great and friendly staff. They seem to cater to the locals. We stopped here for the first time traveling through Baltimore. We will definitely remember this place the next time we are in the area.

One of the most horrible experiences I have ever had at a diner and I've traveled extensively the food was horrible the leadership of the staff was rude and brash. We just left the diner tonight my wife's food end up being disgusting she asked if she could get a different dish she was told no they also had an issue refund in our money. Never seen a restaurant that went out of her way to disappoint the customer I'll never waste my time or money in this place again trust me all of you out there save your money don't waste your time.

Got an egg salad sandwich all they did was chop up a bunch of eggs stuck it on bread no mayonnaise no nothing no seasoning no nothing I could have done that at home

I am /was a loyal customer...until i was accused of calling twice to place an order after 8pm. This occurred with one of the owners daughters with the fake white hair braids. I will not return...i have eaten here w guests more times than i can count..i even know a couple of the waiters on a 1st name basis.. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN BECAUSE OF THE TONE OF VOICE USED BY THE OWNERS DAUGHER... I WILL NOT BE ACCUSED AND SCOLDED LIKE A 5 YEAR OLD...VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

This is my parents go-to for their birthdays and such. Solid diner fair, they go off the rails with anything outside the box. Chicken marsala has an off taste, like brown gravy with garlic, and chicken francaise is thick and goopy. Stick to the burgers, roast turkey, soups and of course the breakfast! And the salads are large and fresh.

Though they checked our temperature when we arrived and were spacing diners appropriately, I saw at least two employees wearing their masks incorrectly, which leads me to assume they aren't wearing them at all if they aren't facing customers. Our waiter did not try to social distance (at other restaurants the staff will stand back when they aren't placing something on the table). They also are still using a communal basket of butter, syrup, jam, etc. which one table could not use the entirety of and you can tell they aren't replacing it for the next customers. I will not be returning for a long while as long as the owners aren't enforcing rules and guidelines that protect their customers and staff. I honestly wish I'd left as soon as I sat down.

Great food and portion size for the price. Don't sleep on their crab cakes! Breakfast any time! Tons of food choices to select from.

Love the fun atmosphere here. The staff made everyone feel welcome. The menu offers so many options it was difficult for me to choose just one. I enjoyed a delicious crab cake, French fries and slaw. It came with the choice of soup or salad. I had the Maryland crab soup all for $11.95. Everyone in my group ordered something different and lunch was enjoyed by all. This restaurant has a bakery right on the premises. The staff were all friendly and courteous. The food was delivered fast and the parking was plentiful. I can't wait to go here again!

The crab cakes here are delicious! When I visit I always get the crab cake sandwich, fried, and it's amazing! Nothing but lump crab meat! Cream of crab soup is also great. Nice place, deserving of a stop if you're in the area!

My mom frequents there and the staff know her order and name! Can’t beat friendly service like that. I’m a big fan of their scrapple! Perfectly crispy on the outside.

A stop here will be rewarding. Besides the 0600 opening, the staff was courteous and attentive. The coffee is strong. On Fridays, the crab cake in a macaroni bowl was bold in flavors, filling, and fresh. Exceptional taste. Highly recommend the Silver Moon Diner, attended on a tip from a local - thanks, Joe. I enjoyed my first time visit. The food was good as were the service and prices. The baked goods section was delicious looking, although I didn't indulge this time. And I tried scrapple!

Really good food. Nice waitress we had today. Strawberry is sweet, keeps up with whatever her customers need. Don't know what they're going to do if they have to shut down again though. Cause that's the talk going on at the moment. City is already closed. And what is everyone going to do about this change shortage???

Everything here is just delicious. Hats off to the chefs. I don't have any complaints . Best diner around. Crab cake platter is to die for the salad that comes with it is divine .

1/2 slab of ribs and crab cake for $24.95. The ribs are delicious and so is the crab cake. Also included is a soup or salad, your choice of potato and vegetable.

First restaurant I had check my temperature. I liked that. Didn't really social distance tables though as they seated another next to us. Our waitress was good but she could have checked on us more often. We will be back, food was good n pruced fair

This place has great food and prices are amazing! We had lunch there today but ate breakfast ( it was the first time eating breakfast there bc we normally get their broiled seafood platter which is amazing) was really good. They have a little bit of everything. Brandon was our sever today and he was very very good. It's definitely a more homey place bc you feel very comfortable there. They treat you more like family than just another customer. We forgot our mask and they gave us ones to have but they did say that isn't something they do but for them to go above and beyond to make sure I was able to take my father out for father's day meant so much to us. We will definitely be giving them our business for as long as they are open.

The stuffed chicken with fresh crabmeat is original for me. I don't like to mix meats but it comes out pretty well especially at a diner. I didn't expect this. It could stand to have more seasoning in my opinion but overall 4 stars for the stuffed chicken. The sides however didn't cut it for me so overall for the meal 3 stars. Friendly waitress, Stacy and casual environment.

Fast service! The creamed chip beef is my go to. My son loves the pancakes! It's the perfect quick place for brinner ( breakfast for dinner)

Place is amazing. Like crab cakes (Maryland crab cakes)? Try theirs. Like standard American fare? Always good here. If you like Greek food, you will love their Moussaka.On top of the quality, is the value. A Greek salad big enough for two people is $12.99. The catfish fillets are about 1 1/2 times the size of those at Cracker Barrel (also tasty, but not as big). If you want a real diner, come here.

I had one of the best crab cakes I ever had in Baltimore County! It was so much food I could not finish it all. I had fast friendly service too! I will definitely be bringing my family back here.I also got an instant $5.00 off coupon while I was there. I opted into their VIP Mobile Club. I just texted the word, "moon" to the number 22452 and got the coupon to use immediately!

Feels just like I'm home in South Jersey. My boyfriend and I love this spot for breakfast.

September 26, 2019 Stopped in for the first time with my daughter. We both had the Greek salad with grilled chicken and Maryland Crab soup. It was absolutely delicious and huge. The waiter, was kind and attentive. When we left to pay we stopped to look at all the gorgeous desserts and wished we had room to try some. We will definitely be back because we want to try the Crab Cakes, and maybe a piece of cheese cake.

Stopped in for a late breakfast and really enjoyed my omelet with peppers and onions. They had so many great combinations offered it was hard to choose. It came with a large side of home fries that was very tasty. Service was courteous and very swift. I can't wait to go back so I can sample some of their gorgeous desserts.

Really enjoyed our visit to the Silver Moon Diner. Wide selection on the menu. Portions were generous and price was very reasonable. Brandon was our server and he was terrific. Very attentive to all of the tables in our area. Will definitely be returning for another visit.

We were there on a Saturday morning for a Company meeting/breakfast. Approximately 40 people were served promptly and efficiently, everyone had a nice hot meal and we heard no complaints about the food. The wait staff were attentive and efficient, although they could have been a bit friendlier, we didn't see too many smiles, but then it was 7:30 in the morning and we were 40 plus hungry people! We would definately schedule our next meeting there.
